China Glaze - Smoke and Ashes

A big hello to all my lovely followers out there! Today I'm going to show you my swatches of Smoke and Ashes from the Hungergames collection by China Glaze. This was one of the polishes I immediately knew I wanted so as you can imagine I was reaaaally excited to try it. I used 2 coats of Smoke and Ashes and 1 layer of topcoat. Allright, here we go!

Pretty amazing huh? It reminds me of a very starry and pretty night! Here's a bottlepic, that is even prettier:

So I'm really happy with the look of this polish, though I would've really wanted to see more of that duochrome glitter that is visible in the bottle but not on the nails. It's a nice colour but I think I'll wear this more often as soon as fall begins, because I LOVE bright and happy colours in spring and summer :D

Catrice Million Styles - Return Of Space Cowboys

Hello cuties! Today I rushed my butt to the Kruidvat to get some of the Million Styles polishes from Catrice, and found the two I wanted :D I got Shake It! Flake It! and Return Of Space Cowboys, wich I will be showing you today. It's a duochrome turquoise glitter and I applied 1 coat over my favourite black, MAX - Black.

I LOVE THIS. It's all pretty and blue and duochrome and wiiiiiiii! The base is a dark gray jelly and it contains silver and blue glass flecks. Isn't that amazing? Drying time wasn't amazing but it wasn't too bad.. We'll see about the removal with this one, I hope I'll be able to get it all off haha!

Still no Simba :( + Cetuem - 194 (duochrome madness!)

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of posting.. We're still looking for Simba everywhere but he's nowhere to be found. You stupid cat, would you just come back already? 

Anyway, here is my NOTD, it's Cetuem - 194, wich I got from Lucy, and it's a duochrome beautyyyy! It's a blurple based duochrome, and it shifts to green and light brown in some angles. It took me two coats to make this opaque, that's not bad for a duochrome!

I think Luna is sad too, because of Simba. I really hope he's doing OK, and he's somewhere safe. Back to the polish, it smelled awfull. You know, nailpolish doesn't smell very nice, but this one smelled afwull. I can't even describe it, yuk! But it was definitely worth it. 

I have some other news to share with you as well! I finally got a job :D I'll be working at the supermarket Albert Heijn, just re-stocking the shelves (or something like that, we call it a 'vakkenvuller'). Anyway, I'm really excited! My first day will be this friday, and I'll probably tweet about it on my twitter. I really want to host a giveaway when I reach 200 or 250 followers, and that will might just be possible now!

OPI - Yodel Me On My Cell

Sorry for not posting so long, but last week I just couldn't find time to write something! On to the polish. In my last post I told you I now own my very first OPI nailpolish.. I've posted about 2 OPI polishes before, but they were both borrowed from Lisa. Now, I have my own! It's Yodel Me On My Cell from the Swiss Collection in Fall 2010. I still want Ski Teal We Drop from that collection, and I hope I can order that one soon :D

I applied 3 coats to make this pretty-polish opaque, and I'm OK with that. It's a big bottle!

It was such a P.I.T.A to photograph! Every time I took a picture I thought it would be colour accurate but when I looked at it.. It was really blue. And YMOMC is not that blue, it's really turquoise! Anyway, I still love it. The colour is perfect. It's even a bit duochrome, in some light.. Drying time is AMAZING! I could touch my nails after 1 minute without getting bumps and stuff in the nailpolish and just apply the next coat without getting bubbles on my nails. Whaaaat?! I told you, amazing.

China Glaze - Rodeo Fanatic

Hi! This week is one SUCKY week for me because I have sooo many things to do! Especially learning, haha... The polish I'm wearing right now is Rodeo Fanatic by China Glaze, and wow let me just show you a close-up of the bottle: 

How can someone dislike this? Got to love it. But it's such a P.I.T.A to photograph, you just can't see how it is in real (and in real, it's gorgeous!)
