Barry M - Bright Red (with some polka dots!)

Hi everyone! I still don't have a new computer (damnit) but we have ordered it so it could be here any time soon (like..maybe next week?). Anyway, today I'd like to show you another nailpolish I got from Lucy (it's like I'll never get them all swatched haha) and it's from Barry M, called Bright Red. Well, the name definitely fits the colour of this polish..

And if you have seen my previous blogpost you saw I got some new KONAD plates and for this mani I used the polka dot design from M79 and Essence white stampy polish.

So, it's not perfect, but I think it still looks very minnie mouse-y and retro! I feel so girly wearing this haha very weird I know. I had to apply 3 coats of Bright Red and you can still see a VNL (visible nail line) so that's not amazing, but because of the polka dots it's not very visible  anymore. Drying time was ok, so 3 coats wasn't that bad. 

I have something to show you! I really want a new camera because my camera right now (Canon 350D) is getting a bit old. I'm now saving for a new one, the amazing Canon 600D!

Pretty amazing huh? I'm not going to tell you all the specificications because it has too much awesome features haha. If I calculated right, I'll be able to buy this beauty just before summer (thanks to my job)! Let's hope that's going to be possible, I love it so much. Does any of my follower own this? Tell me!

Galaxy nail art tutorial - my first video!

I feel sooooo bad for not posting in such a long time but I made a video of my galaxy nails, but the editing took me ages.. Note to self: Windows Movie Maker sucks. Find a new program. 
But finally, it's done! My first youtube-tutorial-video :D

It didn't really turn out as good as I wanted it to, I should have left more black open but I think the result looks kind of cool!

OPI - What's with the Cattitude?

Well hello there! In this post I'd like to show you the first OPI polish ever on my nails (aaaah!) thanks to Lisa who was so sweet to let me use this. I have always wanted What's with the Cattitude from the OPI Shrek Forever After collection. It's a gorgeous colour and the name is just..amazing. This nailpolish describes me! For this look I applied 3 thin coats to make it fully opaque.

I love how Simba looks a bit like Puss in Boots, a ginger kitty with green eyes and a huuuuuge cattitude! Now, about the nailpolish. I LOVE THE COLOUR. It's so pretty and blue and cute and awesome. Just one word..AMAZING. Now, I could go on and on about how much I love it, but I could also just show you the konadicure I created with this polish. I used the cow pattern from M61 and stamped with the essence white stampy polish!

Claire's Coral Crackle

A big hello to everyone who's reading this! Today I'd like to show you the other nailpolish I bought in France, a bright-neon-coral-crackle. Let me tell you, it's bright! It might look a bit orange but in real it is a true neon-coral.

I love Luna's face in this kittypic, lol. I guess she doesn't really like the smell of fresh nailpolish. Sorry hun! 

First I applied 2 layers of Paris Memories - White and waited untill it was fully dried. After that I applied 2 thin layers of crackle (because it's very sheer) and sadly it messed up my base colour a little..  But it still looked awesome! 

Do you have any weird-coloured crackles? And what do you think of this one?

GOSH 60 Lambada

This is 3 coats, no topcoat. Lambada is such a perfect red! Ofcourse, I just couldn't leave it like this.. I was just reading some blogs and then I came by Jen's blog (http://www.thepolishaholic.com/) and I saw her splatter tutorial (http://www.thepolishaholic.com/2011/06/neon-splatter-mani-tutorial.html) and I had to try it out.. Would you like to see the result? 

I admit, it's not perfect, but it's the first time I tried it! I'm definitely going to try it with some other colors, but what do you think?

Hello lovely readers, today is Queensday here in Holland so that means lots of orange, red, white and blue! Since I don't own the perfect orange, I borrowed MAN, GO Tango (Catrice) from my friend Celine (thanks cutie!)

Then I saw this awesome QDAY mani on http://dutch-diana.blogspot.com/2011/04/queensday-nails-from-2010-2009.html (go check out her blog, her nails are GORGEOUS) and I just had to try it out. Didn't really work out the way I wanted it to, but it looks cute... Have fun breaking your neck haha!

Quick mani post, let's get crackalackin'!

Hello again! I hope you all had an awesome weekend, I certainly did! Today I bought the Essence crackles, FINALLY! 

Ofcourse I had to try it out immediately, and I picked out one of my new polishes from Essence called Let's Get Lost and I added the crack me! white top coat.

As you can see, the crackle messed up my polish a little but it's ok, because the over all look is so much fun! It looks a bit like spaghetti, not the typical crackle. With Qeensday I'm going to try to make something with orange!

Failicure!

Aaaargh, I'm such a bad blogger! So sorry about that, I should post every 2-3 days... My middlefinger nail broke off this weekend so I had to cut all my nails a bit shorter. I'm NOT happy!

Okay, on to my FAILICURE. I'm telling you, it's sucky. As a base I used Catrice - Poison Me, Poison You and  stamped a full nail pattern from M65 on it and because it looked boring I added some Casuelle glitters on top of it all. And ofcourse, I messed up. 

Please, don't click. You'll see the smudged out stamp and the big bump on my pink. 

From a distance it looks pretty cool. But never look close. NEVER!

These roses are for Audrey - CG For Audrey

Helloooo! I'm back, sorry it took me so long haha... Next week I have another testweek at school (urgh) so I probably won't post anything... SO SORRY! 
So erh tuesday I got For Audrey in the mail (a major lemming was killed!) and I couldn't wait to try it. But Monday I put on one of my new polishes from H&M, the Hello Kitty Turquoise. Here's a quick pic!

I wanted to show you this because this polish and For Audrey are pretty much THE SAME! I'll make a real comparison as soon as possible, but here's a bottle comparison pic...

Catrice Glamourama - C04 Glamourista / Valentines day manicure!

Hi! Yesterday I went shopping here in Zoetermeer, and I went to the Trekpleister where they sell Catrice. The still had the old LE (Glamourama) and I saw Glamourista and it was just a perfect red polish. It was only €1,25! Today I'm going to show this perfect little polish to you! It's a deep jelly red, without any shimmer.

this is how the colour sort of looks like in real. I had to darken it with my computer because my camera just couldn't pick up the right colour. 

Ok so I liked he colour, but I was like hmmm little boring! Since valentines day is monday, I made this little valentine manicure for you! I stamped with the special Essence stampy polish with KONAD plate M65, the rose pattern.

RIMMEL LONDON 825 Sky High (AGAIN?!) + New camera!

Yes, again, I'm sorry but I absolutely adore this polish and my previous post about it was like... SUCKY! Only one shot, and it was in bad lightning. So, I present to you, one of my favourite polishes from my stash, Rimmel London's Sky High, with Konad M71 in white on it! (Sorry, no photo without it :c)

Good news peopleeeeee, I bought a new camera on marktplaats.nl (the dutch ebay, a bit smaller though haha). I chose the Canon 350 because I'm just an amateur, and it makes a huge different in price. The pictures are soooooo sharp! Look at them! (^^) I'm very happy and I'll be posting great pictures from now on.
