Luxe and Lush in Roosywood

I am worlds worst blogger. I'm so sorry. But from now on, I will be posting more often because my testweek is over, hallelujah! OH BTW OMG I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING :D Yesterday Gemma, Lisa and I went to see The Hungergameeeeees! It was so amazing, I was actually shaking the whole movie through. And yes, when Rue died, I cried. And I'm not even ashamed of it haha... So it was really frickin awesome and if you haven't seen it yet, GO DO IT YOU FOOL!
Today I have a very pretty layering combo for you, it's China Glaze - Luxe and Lush over Catrice - Welcome To Roosywood. I used two coats of Welcome To Roosywood, 1 of Luxe and Lush and 1 thick coat of topcoat.

On the kittypic you can see Luna's fluffy belly in front of her little face haha.. Did I mention this mani combines two of my favorite things? Roosywood - Rosewood - Pretty Little Liars and ofcourse The Hungergaaaaames! That is just awesome. Anyway, I love the look of this "flakie-like" topcoat. It's a bit different than normal flakies, that's what makes Luxe and Lush so interesting! WTR is a pretty dusty purple-pink and I think this layering combo looks awesome.

China Glaze - Riveting

FINALLY, a blogpost! Sorry it took me so long but I'm in another testweek and I was waiting for some polishes to arrive..yayyyyy :D I got 5 of the Hungergames China Glazes and I'll be showing them to you in my upcoming posts. Today is the day it's premiering in Holland (aaaaah) and I'm going as soon I get the chance! To celebrate the premiere I painted my nails with Riveting. Nails on fireeeeee!

I AM IN LOVE. It reminds me of golden glitters on FIRE! I'm pretty sure this was inspired by Katniss her fire dress, and because I'm wearing this, I actually feel like Katniss. I'm on fire!

Application was awesome, it needed two coats for opaqueness and drying time was not too bad.

I'm not going to tell you the other polishes I bought, but if you follow me on twitter you can see them because I sort of kind of tweeted a picture haha..

Catrice Million Styles - Return Of Space Cowboys

Hello cuties! Today I rushed my butt to the Kruidvat to get some of the Million Styles polishes from Catrice, and found the two I wanted :D I got Shake It! Flake It! and Return Of Space Cowboys, wich I will be showing you today. It's a duochrome turquoise glitter and I applied 1 coat over my favourite black, MAX - Black.

I LOVE THIS. It's all pretty and blue and duochrome and wiiiiiiii! The base is a dark gray jelly and it contains silver and blue glass flecks. Isn't that amazing? Drying time wasn't amazing but it wasn't too bad.. We'll see about the removal with this one, I hope I'll be able to get it all off haha!

Bad news :(

Hey guys, I have some bad news for you today.. Yesterday, the kitty we were supposed to get got really sick and unfortunately died. She had some problems breathing when she was born but it seemed like she was going to be ok. Luckily she wasn't in our home yet, so we weren't really her owners but it still sucks... RIP little girl, we were already starting to love you!

So, we're back in the kitty-hunting-business, if you live near me and know someone who has some new born kitties, let me know.

Essence Nude Glam - Hazelnut Cream Pie

Well hello there! A lot of people have been searching Google for "Essence Nude Glam" and got to my blog to just see a bottle pic so I figured why just not swatch it for you all? :D I have Hazelnut Cream Pie, a pretty nude with a little surprise..

So here's the little surprise..it has the very famous Chanel - Paradoxal purple shimmer!

It's not very visible but still, surprising right?

So, it's very pretty but a bit too light for my skintone. Drying time was great, opaque in only 2 coats (that's amazing for a nude!) and it looks pretty :D

Because you all seemed to love the previous pic I send you of our new yet-to-be-named-kitty, I decided to include one in this post aswell :D

Again, can you think of a name for this cutie? What do you think of the name Jessie?

Nailpolish tag

Hey sweeties! First of all I would like to share some reaaaally exciting news with all of you. Let me introduce you to....our new yet-to-be-named kittennnnnnn!

It's the cutie on the right, she's not in our home yet since she's still very young and needs time with her mommy. I'm really excited and I hope Luna will be ok with this little kitty added to our family. 

Can you think of a name for this little (female) kitty?

 Tomorrow I'll actually paint my nails and show you (probably thursday) but for now I'd like to share this with you! I got tagged by polishlover to do a nailpolish tag. She originally did it in dutch, but I translated the questions. So..let's go!

How many nailpolishes do you own?
Wait.. *runs upstairs* I own 149 polishes at the moment. That's not too bad, is it?

From all your polishes, wich brand do you have the most of?
That'll be either Essence or Catrice... *runs upstairs again* Essence it is! I own 33 Essence polishes.

What colours are most common to find in your stash?
Most definitely blue haha! I counted them, I have 51 blue nailpolishes, out of 149 total. 

 Are there any colours/finishes you don't own?
I believe I have pretty much everything.. Not everything in every colour though, but I guess I have it pretty much all.

Wich polish do you wear most often? Name colour and brand!
That's a tough one.. Erhm.. I tend to go for Catrice - Moulin Rouge Light when I have either a performance, something fancy or just whenever I feel like my nails deserve to look classy and sophisticated!

Do you have any nailpolishes that you're not sure of why you still have them?
Haha well I used to, I put all of those in a box but I still didn't throw them away. (These are not included in my total number of polishes by the way, I just don't want to get rid of them so yeah...


Do you use base and topcoat?
I always wear basecoat (usually Sally Hansen - Maximum Growth or Hard As Nails), but I don't actually always wear topcoat. If I do, it's my precious Catrice - Up To 10 Days.

What do you prefer: stamping or free-handed nailart?
Stamping! I suck at free-handed nailart. I only did one free-handed on my blog so far, a melted icecream design.

Do you prefer shimmers, glitters, or a crème finish?
I really like glitters, I just hate the removal part so I'm going to go for crème. 

Do you feel naked when you're not wearing any nailpolish?
Well, I used to have that all the time, but for some reason I don't really have that anymore.. I'm weird, I know.

I'm back from Switzerland :D

Hello my lovely followers! After an amazing but exhausting week of skiing in Ovronnaz we're back home with Luna :) When I got home I discovered one hell of a thing, I almost reached the 200 followers! I currently have 195, and I'm so cloooooose omg :D 
Here are some pictures I made this week (not a lot this time, we just had so much fun I forgot to take pictures haha)

The first day there was a weird fog laying over Switzerland. It looked mysterious, I liked it.

This is the view from our apartment the first day, dark and cloudy.

Me and my cousin Lieke decided to paint our nails, Lieke (left) is wearing OPI - Not So Bora Bora-ing Pink and I'm (right) wearing good old China Glaze - For Audrey. 

That's really the selection of the 20 pictures I made haha like I told you, not a lot.
