Happy Queensday!

Yaaaaay it's queensday in Holland again! Everyone dressed in orange, wearing orange nailpolish, selling their old stuff and eating an orange tompouce. That's right, a tompouce. I'll be sure to get back to the tompouce at the end of this post :D

So for my Queensday mani I applied 3 layers of Essence - WAKE UP! and on my ringfinger I applied one thin coat of Golden Rose Scale Effect - #10 :)

Nothing really special but I liked the look of the flakies! It take an age to dry though, blah.

Anyway, back to the tompouce, or as we dutchies like to call it: tompoes. To everyone non-dutch who's reading this. If you ever visit Holland on Queensday, you HAVE TO eat one of these. Just look at them. This is the one I ate just 10 minutes ago:

Golden Rose Scale #06 over Essence - Bella

Hi guys! Sorry for not posting in a while but I have had a busy week so I didn't get the chance to write a blogpost but I did paint them.. Yesterday I had a party to celebrate Lisa's 16th birthday (wich is today!) and I had loads of fun (happy birthday sweetie, thanks for inviting me :D). I wore a turquoise blouse and I wanted something on my nails to match them. I applied two layers of Essence - Bella, 1 of Golden Rose Scale Effect #06 and 1 layer of Essence matt topcoat. Let's look at the final result first!

So, I think it is very very veeeeeeery purretty but I don't really get why there are 3 copper flakies on my ringfinger? It's so strange, they don't colour-shift or anything they're just plain copper. Oh well, still pretty!

So then I applied 1 layer of  #06 and here's a picture of it before I mattified it:

In bright lights the flakies turn all pink and invisible so I like it better in darker lights where all the flakies turn green, blue and prettyyyyyyyy...

PS. I got a question in my last blogpost from Jossy and she asked what is my favourite nailpolish of all time and if I'm going to do the nailpolish obsession tag.

Well, my favourite nailpolish of all time is still China Glaze - For Audrey. I adore the colour, the formula, everything about it actually! And erhm sure, I could do the nailpolish obsession tag! Are there more people who want to see me do this? Let me know in the comments and maybe I'll just do it!

Finally, a blogpost! Golden Rose Scale #11

Hi guys! I sent my computer to a computer-guy and he said he is not going to be able to fix it. Damnit. I have to buy a new one, because I can't live without my own computer, but I did find a way to get my pictures from my camera to my parents' computer, so here's a little blogpost!
I got my order from nailpolishfashion (wich I will show you after the nailpics) and I ordered 3 Golden Rose flakies, and first I tried number 11 over Herôme - Frankfurt. Here are some pics:

I really liked the manicure, but the drying time was awfull. I had to wait for at least two hours to get it completely dry :( But ofcourse, it's a very thick polish so I could've expected it haha. Very pretty!

My nail-related-birthday-wishlist!

Ok, so since my nails are (what I think) too short for pretty swatches right now I decided to post a little something else. Today I have my wishlist for you! If you don't like this stuff, you don't have to read it, but I always love wishlists, just to find out about new brands and products :D

Let's start with..polishes! The polishes I want VERY BADLY, are the Hungerglaze polishes from China Glaze. I"m a HUUUUGE fan of the Hungergames books, and the colours are so FRICKIN amazing, let me show you!

NEED. THEM. ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Did you know I'm actually going to find a job just so I can buy this entire collection? LOL..

Ok, on to the next polishes!

I would love to have Color Club - Revvvolution and Color Club - Wild At Heart. Since I tried out my first CC (Untamed Luxury) I want moreeee.. And of course, both holos :D

Next, 3 Nfu Ohs. I don't own any Nfu Oh polishes so far, but I love the bottledesign and I can't WAIT to try them!

My birthday is so close :D I can't wait! On the 27th of december I'll finally turn 15, aaaaah. I'm going to give a big party with my friend Sophia and hope I'll get loads of money to buy all these goodies haha :D

Golden Rose scale #10 over Catrice - Caught On The Red Carpet

Hey guys! Before I got Lucy's package, I had this manicure on my nails. Laureen and I placed an order on nailpolishfashion.nl, she ordered 2 of the Golden Rose Scale Effects and I ordered China Glaze - Crushed Candy wich I will show you later this week! The Golden Rose polishes came about 1 week before Crushed Candy and Laureen was a cutie to let me apply nr 10 before she came to pick it up :D I applied 2 layers of Caught On he Red Carpet from Catrice first, then 1 layer of Golden Rose scale effect #10  and after that I added a layer of matte topcoat. Here's the result:

Pretty, huh? Here are all the steps done while creating this mani haha..

2 coats, not completely opaque (oof that VNL, blahhh!) with flash.

Well, after this I added the soft touch topcoat by Essence and I've shown that result above!
