Good Luck Earth and Kitty Update #8

Yaaaay, weekend! My first week of school has been....extremely boring. That's why I am so happy I finally had the time to do something about my terrible-looking nails this afternoon, lol! I used Deborah Milano - Good Luck Green and sponged the top with SpaRitual - Earth Matters, one of the polishes I won in a giveaway hosted by Lucy!
Ooooooh! Daylight, no flash.

Good Luck Green with only my accent finger sponged, sunlight (to show you GLG in sunlight!)

Good Luck Green in daylight.

Mila-kittypic!

Sem-kittypic!

Isn't it a gorgeous colour? Such a pretty shade of green. The formula and drying time were also amazing! This polish is like half jelly half creme, so cool. Also, this polish will match a lot of the fall clothes in stores now! Yes, I like this polish :D

Now, on to the kitty update. The kitties are doing great and are becoming actual kittycats!
gorgeous Mila ♥

crazy-looking Sem, haha!

Sem looks sooo regal in this picture!

pretty eyes Mila!

Also, Luna has been really nice to the kitties. Maybe it's because she can eat all their food (they don't dare to protest, Luna is still a lot bigger haha), or maybe because she finally sees they're actually really cute and fun kitties to hang out and play with! I personally think it's because of the first reason...

How has your week been? :D

Fly the Hologram Sky

Hello everyone! In my last post I showed you the polishes I bought in Italy, and today I made a little combo with two of them. First I applied 3 coats of Deborah Milano - Fly High, then 2 coats of Shaka - Hologram Sky.

kittypicsss!

Isn't that amazing? The holographic effect is soooo bright, but ofcourse not quite a bright as GOSH - Holographic! I am loving this combo.
Here's a little pic of Fly High on it's own:

This combo worked out great imo, the colours work perfect together. Shaka - Hologram Sky is really sheer and not that holographic when you apply it over your nude nails, but with a bright basecolour..KABOOM!
Today I found the new Essence bottles in my local drugstore and bought 2 of them, I simply couldn't resist buying these:
06 cookies & cream (from the nude glam collection) and 120 cookie love (colour & go)

See how I stayed in the cookietheme there? LOL!

I'm back from Italy! (Warning: loads of pictures)

Hello everyoneeee! Friday night we got home from our summervacation to Italy, and I'm so happy we're home again :) I missed the kitties soooo much... They've grown a lot over the past 3 weeks, but ofcourse they're still little kittens and reaaaally cute. Here are some pictures:
"whut?"

So, on to my vacation pictures!
First we went to Milan...
Duomo Santa Maria Nascente!

this is a sign we saw in a little bakery where we had some delicious cupcakes. Cute, right?

Then we went to Piano Di Mommio, a little village near Viareggio. This was our campsite:
our two tents!

the swimming pool ♥

me and my cousins nails. I had Better Late Than Never by Essence on my nails and I painted her nails with Herôme - New Delhi!

Here are the pictures I made that week:

The last week we went to Elba, an island near the coast of Italy. Elba is gorgeous!
Capo Bianco, near Portoferraio

I don't know where this is on Elba..but it is pretty!

Marina Di Campo, where we stayed on a campsite that week.

on a banana boat with other dutch people!

the group of friends we made that week :D

It was so great! Elba is soooo pretty, we snorkeled a lot and I had a lot of fun. Ofcourse we also shopped a lot in Italy...and I couldn't resist buying these 7 polishes:

Kiko 389 Mint Milk and 360 Strawberry Red
I'm not sure if the left one is Mint Milk, because the number is swept away or something...

this is a really cheap golden glitter polish I bought on a market in Pisa

Deborah - Fly High and Deborah - Good Luck Green

holographiiiiiiics! Shaka - Hologram Nude and Shaka - Hologram Sky

I am so happy I found those last polishes in a store called OVS/oviesse, they were only 2 euros :o
I bought one more polish, but that is still a surprise... Ofcourse I also bought some clothing, but I don't have any pictures of that to show you, sorry!
How was your summervacation?
